August 13: Fleetwood 0, New Hampshire 2Runs were hard to come by, as Fleetwood's Esteban Loaiza and New Hampshire's Jorge Sosa locked horns in a pitchers' duel.
The Derry Heifers plated two 3rd inning runs on an RBI triple by Cesar Izturis and an RBI groundout by ex-Walker Laynce Nix. David Riske and Huston Street relieved Sosa, and held Fleetwood scoreless to complete the shutout.
August 14: Fleetwood 5, New Hampshire 2Derrek Lee continued his hot month for Fleetwood, hitting a two-run homer in the 2nd inning and an RBI single in the 8th. Miguel Cabrera also contributed for the Walkers, adding a two-run double that put the game away.
On the mound, A.J. Burnett combined with four relievers to hold New Hampshire to just 2 runs.
August 15: Fleetwood 13, New Hampshire 3
Fleetwood jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead, led by a two-run Miguel Cabrera double in the 1st inning. New Hampshire clawed back with single runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings, but the Walkers put the game away with a 6-run explosion in the 4th inning and 4 more runs in the 5th.Among the stars at the plate for Fleetwood were David DeJesus (3-5, HR, 3 R, 3 RBI), Derrek Lee (2-4, HR, R, 2 RBI), and Marcus Giles (3-5, HR, 2 R, RBI). Meanwhile, Greg Maddux provided the Walkers with another strong start (7 IP, 3 R, 0 BB, 6 K).
