May 6: Fleetwood 6, Boston 3Fleetwood establishes a big lead in the early innings, led by home runs from Derrek Lee and David Wright. Josh Phelps has another big game, going 2-4 with two doubles. Boston scores 3 runs versus Esteban Loaiza in the 7th, but Fleetwood's bullpen (Cal Eldred, Scott Downs, Arthur Rhodes) stops the bleeding with 2.1 innings of hitless relief.

Fleetwood throws its second shutout of the series, this time led by David Bush (7 innings, 5 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, 3 strikeouts). Derrek Lee (2-5, HR, 2 RBI) and David Wright (3-5, RBI) once again lead the offensive attack.
